Vignette Collection to open in Egypt

IHG Hotels & Resorts will open the Vignette Collection Hotel Royal Maxim Port Said, its first hotel in Egypt for this soft brand as part of a management agreement with Maxim Hotels & Resorts Management. The hotel, a former office of the Suez Canal, will debut in December 2027 and have two sections each with 70 rooms.

Singita Elela Lodge Botswana

In the summer of 2026, Cape Town-based hotel firm Singita will open the Singita Elela Lodge in Botswana’s famed nature reserve and region of the Okavango Delta. The conservation-minded property will be in one of the delta’s largest concessions, some 170,000 acres.

New owner for Le Méridien Stuttgart

A joint venture of Hamburg-based owner HWS Immobilien- und Vermögensverwaltung GmbH and operator Munich-based MHP Hotel AG have acquired the 293-room Le Méridien Stuttgart, Germany, from Union Investment, which owned the hotel from 2005.

Waldorf Astoria coming to Madinah, Saudi Arabia

Hilton and Saudi Arabian owner Taiba Investments have announced they will bring the Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts brand to Madinah, one of the country’s two Holy Cities. The hotel will have approximately 300 rooms and open in 2028.

Rixos Hotels & Resorts opens property in Ras al Khaimah

In October, Accor-affiliated brand Rixos Hotels & Resorts opened the 466-room Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah in Ras al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. Offerings at the “ultra all-inclusive” resort include seven pools.

Aleph Hospitality assumes management of two Morocco resorts

Dubai-based third-party management firm Aleph Hospitality has taken over management of two luxury resorts in Morocco, the 93-room Marchica Lagoon Resort in Nador and 72-room Michlifen Resort & Golf in Ifrane.

Travelodge OpCo Group acquires Genesis House

British hotel firm Travelodge, via its ownership vehicle Travelodge OpCo Group, has acquired its debut standalone freehold acquisition, with the 24,000-square-foot Genesis House office building on Godliman St. in the St Paul’s district of London. It will transform the space into a 95-room hotel, with construction to begin in the first quarter of 2026 and opening to be in the first quarter of the following year.

Park Inn by Radisson opens in Kuwait

Radisson Hotel Group has opened the Park Inn by Radisson Hotel & Apartments Kuwait in the district of Mahboula district, just south of Kuwait City. It will have 180 rooms and 70 serviced apartments.

Radisson is also opening within its Individuals soft brand the 87-room Albrighton Hall Hotel & Spa in Shrewsbury, England.

EasyHotel opens fourth hotel in France

EasyHotel has opened the 111-room EasyHotel Marseille Euromed, the firm’s fourth hotel in France. Together with properties in Nice and Paris (two), the new hotel will be joined in 2027 by one in 2027 in Ferney-Voltaire, in France but immediately adjacent to Geneva and the Swiss border.

Aimbridge opens Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Belgium

Hotel management firm Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA has opened the 126-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ghent, Belgium, a hotel that has been converted from the Holiday Inn Express Ghent.

Dalata signs new lease for London hotel

Irish hotel company Dalata Hotel Group has agreed to a lease on a new hotel in London that will open under its Clayton brand. The 154-room hotel does not have an opening date as yet but will be Dalata’s sixth hotel in the city, for a combined room count of 1,030.

Miiro Hotels opening third hotel in London

Miiro Hotels is to open its third Miiro-branded hotel, Miiro, Templeton Garden, in London next April. The property will have 156 rooms and occupy a site in the capital’s Earl’s Court district.

That hotel will be complemented by two upcoming hotels in Vienna, the 64-room Miiro Palais, Vienna, due to open in the third quarter of 2025 and the 132-room Miiro Maria Theresia, Vienna, which will open in the fourth quarter of 2025. Miiro also is to open in December the 29-room The Mansard in Gstaad, Switzerland.

Scandic signs two leases for Swedish hotels

Scandic Hotels has announced it has signed two long-term lease deals with Stockholm-based owner JV Nordväst Fastighet AB. Both will be conversions, and the two hotels, a 96-room one in Helsingborg and a 103-room one in Jönköping — both cities in Sweden — will commence a renovations program for a targeted opening in the first half of 2026.

Palladium opens 45 Times Barcelona Hotel

Spanish firm Palladium Hotel Group on Nov. 15 opened the 119-room 45 Times Barcelona Hotel. It is a return to the city for the company that until 2022 operated three hotels in the Catalan capital under the flag of Ayre Hoteles.

Cloud One Gdańsk opens in Poland

The Cloud One Gdańsk has opened in the Polish Baltic Ocean city with a room count of 327. Part of German hotel firm Motel One GmbH, the hotel is its debut in Poland and joins the brand’s five other hotels in Düsseldorf, Hamburg, New York City, Nuremburg and Prague.

Z Hotels adds Leicester Square hotel in London

Z Hotels, which already has 11 hotels in London and 15 in the United Kingdom, will add to its portfolio in January with a 95-room hotel on London’s Leicester Square. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2025.

Tribe brand opens 412-room hotel at Manchester Airport

Accor brand Tribe has opened its newest hotel, the 412-room Tribe Manchester Airport, which is owned by ABC Investment & Management and operated by Aimbridge EMEA.

Alchemy Step Hotel Group acquires Brussels hotel

Alchemy Step Hotel Group acquired on Nov. 1 the 142-room Gresham Belson Hotel in Brussels. No price was announced. The group now operates 14 hotels in Belgium and Germany.

RBH Hospitality Management to manage two IHG hotels in Dundee, Scotland

Owner Percor Capital announced that RBH Hospitality Management is to be the new operator of its dual-branded hotel property in Dundee, Scotland, that contains two IHG Hotels & Resorts’ brands, a 102-room Hotel Indigo and an 85-room Staybridge Suites.

A&O Hostels opens Antwerp property

A&O Hostels announced the opening of its 41st European hotel, the 133-room and 566-bed A&O Antwerpen, in Antwerp, Belgium.
