Nestled between the amenities of downtown Nashville and an artsy suburb, a three-building apartment complex is affording residents a blend of city living and local flavor.
The Residences at The Finery is a six-story, 383-unit multifamily development in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, known as a historic creative enclave just minutes outside downtown.
Developed by global real estate investor Hines, the project has earned a 2025 CoStar Impact Award for multifamily development of the year, as judged by real estate professionals familiar with the market.
Offering studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences, The Residences at The Finery was built for people to live and work from home. Other amenities include a 640-space parking garage, an above-floor retail and amenity space, a community fitness center, a pool, a speakeasy and coworking areas.
The project is made up of three distinct buildings connected by pedestrian bridges. The north building, for example, exhibits a large-scale mural on its exterior, while the colorful east building sits atop a glass-walled mixed-use base.
Together, the buildings are part of a larger mixed-use campus, The Finery, that includes office space, retailers, entertainment and hospitality spaces and restaurants. Residents have access to those facilities as well.
The development comes as the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, known as WeHo, undergoes a revival. Already, major employers like Red Bull GmbH, Apple Music, Live Nation Entertainment, Hermès and F. Schumacher & Co. have moved to the area, and major growth is expected in coming years.
