Carol H. Williams Advertising leased 24,161 square feet of Class-A office space at 555 City Center in Oakland, CA. The full-service advertising agency plans to move into the entire 17th floor of the 21-story, 487,000-square-foot property in February 2003. The company is relocating from the World Savings Center located at 1901 Harrison St. in Oakland, where it currently occupies approximately 11,061 square feet on the 9th floor. "555 City Center is state-of-the-art, and the best office space in the entire Bay area," says Carol Williams, founder, president and CEO of the Oakland-headquartered advertising agency. "It surpasses anything in San Francisco." Rick Steffens of Grubb & Ellis in Walnut Creek represented the tenant. John Dolby represented The Shorenstein Company LP in-house.
