One of Manhattan's leading law firms, Dewey Ballantine, signed a 1.5-year lease for the entire 9,750-square-foot 5th floor at 200 Church. It will move into the space in December. According to Scott Klatsky of Time Equities, Dewey Ballantine, whose main office is located at 1301 Avenue of the Americas, was looking for a downtown office to serve as a "war room" for an upcoming trial at the U.S. District Court. Klatsky represented the landlord, 200 Church St Associates. David Ofman of NAI/Lawrence represented Dewey Ballantine. The property is a Class-B office building located in the Tribeca submarket.
