Cornerstone Corners the Marin Market

REIT Given Exclusive Negotiating Rights to Larkspur Site

The Ross Valley Sanitary District has granted Wilson Cornerstone, the Western division of Cornerstone Properties Inc., in a joint venture with Campus Management Co., exclusive negotiating rights for the purchase of a 9.2-acre site in Larkspur, CA. The project entails the development of 168,000 square feet of Class A office space and a 150-room hotel. The site is located across the street from the Larkspur Ferry Terminal and east of Highway 101 in Marin County. Not only is the site well-situated but it also offers exceptional views of the San Francisco Bay and Mount Tamalpais. Cornerstone Properties, a New York-based REIT, was chosen last fall to redevelop San Francisco's Ferry Building and developed The Gap's 540,000-square-foot corporate headquarters in San Francisco.
