A leading figure in the real estate industry, Léon Bressler died on Friday at the age of 77. The former banker lifted the Unibail empire to become the most important listed real estate group in France between 1992 and 2006, before returning to the CAC 40 company in 2020 as chairman of the supervisory board after an offensive led alongside Xavier Niel, with whom he spearheaded the Refocus plan.
