Sprouts' sizable warehouse lease in Orange County, California, is expected to lead to more growth for the grocer in Southern California.

In April 2022, Sprouts signed a lease for the entire new facility measuring nearly 337,000 square feet under construction at 1829 E. Orangethorpe Ave. in the Goodman Logistics Center in Fullerton, California. The deal won a CoStar Impact Award for lease of the year in Orange County after being selected by a panel of local industry professionals.

Sprouts plans to relocate its Southern California distribution center into the facility in 2023 to support its store expansion in the Golden State. The grocer has roughly 129 stores in California, with 18 in Orange County.

Sprouts' lease is the first major tenant in the new logistics center. The roughly 1.5 million-square-foot facility is expected to wrap up construction this year.
