The Segal Co. leased a 49,971-square-foot office space within the 575,294-square-foot building at 101 N. Wacker Drive in Chicago. The benefits consulting firm recently acquired Sibson & Co., which occupied approximately 25,000 square feet at the time of the acquisition. The Segal Co. decided to renew the existing lease and expand by approximately 25,000 square feet, bringing its total occupied square footage to 49,971 square feet. Julien J. Studley Inc. enabled Segal to merge the two entities into one efficient location while reducing overall space requirements and rental costs. Segal achieved a concession package that allowed the firm to reconfigure its space to maximize efficiency. Also, staggered lease expirations were wrapped into one coterminous lease. Joshua D.
