Church Converts Former Theatre

Former Pacific Ten Theatre Sells for $2.1 Million

Montecito Baptist Church purchased the former Pacific Ten Theatre at 2560 South Archibald Ave. in Ontario. The 35,600-square-foot building closed escrow for $2.1 million, or approximately $59 per square foot. Montecito Baptist Church will convert the former theatre into a church with a community center and a school. According to Bill Lowder, one of the brokers involved in the transaction, "The Church is relocating to Ontario from La Puente to serve a large congregation as well as the residents of Ontario and Chino." Bill Lowder and Dawn n Lowder with NAI Capital Commercial Real Estate represented the buyer. John Pentz of Pentz & Partners represented the seller, PCF Investments LLC.
