Southland Industries Relocating

Mechanical Engineering Firm Signs 15-Year Lease

After 20 years at its location at 1661 E. 32nd St. in Long Beach, Southland Industries will relocate its operation to 7421 Orangewood in Garden Grove. The company will more than double its previous square footage with its lease of the 82,602-square-foot industrial building. Consideration for the 15-year deal is valued in excess of $8.2 million. The 22-year-old building features four loading-docks, six grade-level doors, 24-foot clear height and heavy power. Peter Castleton of Voit Commercial Brokerage represented Southland Industries. Robert Goodmanson and Scott Smith of CB Richard Ellis represented the landlord, Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics.
