After eight consecutive months of declining rents, Las Vegas finally broke its losing streak in January. The average apartment rent in the metropolitan area increased 0.4% in the first month of the year. It is not uncommon for landlords to push rents ahead of the spring leasing season. Las Vegas has notched positive monthly rent growth in January in each of the past three years.
