Uber IPO Filing Reveals Scope of Global Footprint

'Unicorn' Plans to Expand Large Real Estate Holdings

Ride-hailing app maker Uber’s global footprint totals 7.7 million square feet, just shy of three Empire State Buildings’ worth of real estate. Even so, the company still plans to help develop or lease another 1.1 million square feet in San Francisco alone, securing its position as one of Silicon Valley's hungriest tech companies for property.
