Canadian Retailers To Step Into in Vacant Retail Left By US-Based Retailer

United States-based retailer Bed Bath & Beyond announced its exit from Canada after seeking protection under the Companies Creditors Arrangement Act, which is similar to U.S. Chapter 11 bankruptcy law. These closures will leave behind nearly 2 million square feet of vacant retail real estate in 54 Bed Bath & Beyond and 11 Buy Buy Baby stores.
