JLL Recruits Dallas Valuation Veteran To Lead Institutional Sector
JLL Valuation Advisory has hired a managing director to lead its institutional sector and focus on providing technology-driven service for U.S. valuation advisory service clients.
Tasha Gould is based in the firm's Dallas office, where she will partner with sector and market leads in addition to designing and executing growth strategy and focusing on recruiting and mentoring team leads across JLL Valuation Advisory's platform.
Gould brings more than 19 years of experience in institutional valuations, financial analysis and planning, audit and compliance, and project management, most recently as director of valuations for Invesco Real Estate, where she led a team of 12 valuation managers and analysts and oversaw valuations for the firm's real estate holdings.
Before that, Gould worked as the senior appraiser for Principal Real Estate Investors, overseeing valuations for its North American portfolio across all property sectors.
JLL employs more than 2,000 valuation professionals across 50 countries. Gould's appointment follows other promotions or hirings in JLL Valuation Advisory this year, including Aimee Morgan in multihousing, Andrea Gillman in affordable housing and Katie Parsons in industrial, with each either leading or co-leading their sectors nationally.
FNRP Taps Holtzman To Head New NNN Division

First National Realty Partners is launching a new division as the Red Bank, New Jersey-based real estate firm seeks to develop new avenues for serving investors.
Doug Holtzman has joined the company as vice president of triple-net leasing and acquisitions, where he will identify properties with near-term leasing expirations and take those deals full cycle within a target 18-month period.
Founded in 2015, FNRP continues to grow its nationwide portfolio of grocery-anchored, open-air retail centers in primary and key secondary markets. Managing Director Fred Battisti noted in a statement that, while this remains the firm's core business, Holtzman’s appointment is integral to the firm’s launch of a division to focus on net-leased properties.
Holtzman is a 14-year industry veteran who specializes in investment sales and leasing of single-tenant retail properties with net leases. He began his career at Site Centers as a leasing intern while earning his bachelor's degree in marketing from Kent State University before joining Anchor Cleveland, where he most recently served as a vice president and specialized in investment sales.
LPC Fills Newly Created CIO, Executive VP Role

Logistics Property Co. has added Brent Steele to its growing team of senior leaders, naming him executive vice president and chief investment officer in the firm's office in Huntington Beach, California.
In the newly created role, Steele will expand the company’s development and investment programs and capital markets exposure nationally.
Steele brings more than 20 years of finance experience and over 15 years in real estate investment and development, most recently as head of the Americas real estate team at the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, where he invested more than $6 billion of equity investments across all property types. Before that, he was a senior director with CBRE Global Investors in Los Angeles and worked as a senior associate at AIG Global Real Estate.
Pappas To Oversee Investor Relations at TruAmerica

TruAmerica Multifamily has hired Stella Pappas as senior managing director and head of investor relations.
In her new role, Pappas will oversee fundraising efforts and investor relations for the Los Angeles-based apartment landlord and will serve on its investment committee. Based in Chicago, she will work to expand the team and report directly to co-Chief Investment Officer and Head of Capital Markets Noah Hochman.
Pappas brings more than two decades of real estate investment experience, most recently as vice president of investor relations at Waterton, where she helped the firm achieve its fundraising target for its multifamily fund in 2021. She spent most of her career at Allstate Investments, the private equity real estate acquisitions and asset management arm of the publicly held insurance company. There she co-launched the direct real estate equity platform and sourced, structured, underwrote and managed $3 billion in fund investments and joint-venture partnerships. Her career also included stops at HFF and Tremont Realty Capital.
Morris Moves to JLL To Remain Competitive

Ken Morris has joined JLL as a senior vice president with its South Florida industrial brokerage team.
Morris, who had been running his own boutique brokerage, investment and management firm, said in an email to CoStar News that "to continue working on the type and size of transactions I want to work on, I felt that I needed a global platform behind me to remain competitive."
During his more than 30 years running Morris Southeast Group, the industrial brokerage specialist was reportedly involved in more than 500 lease and sale transactions valued at nearly $1 billion. At JLL, Morris expects to continue working on industrial transactions across the region.
CBRE Promotes Industrial Professional to VP

Shelby Gumpf has been promoted to vice president with CBRE's industrial and logistics team in Columbus, Ohio.
Gumpf is among CBRE's top five industrial professionals in the Columbus office based on production volume for 2021. She was involved in Home Depot's lease of a newly completed, 1.1 million-square-foot property at the I-70 Logistics Center in West Jefferson, a top industrial lease in the market last quarter.
Before joining CBRE's Columbus office as an associate in 2018, she worked with CBRE's global workplace solutions portfolio advisory and transaction services team in Cincinnati. Gumpf previously worked as a commercial real estate agent with the Schueler Group and as a property manager at Phillips Edison & Co.
