State Estimates Confirm Seattle Population Growth

Led by Seattle, cities in the Puget Sound area drove an increase in population across the state last year. Seattle’s population increased by 16,700, representing more than half the growth in King County. The other top five cities in Washington for population growth were Kirkland, Redmond, Bellingham and Lynnwood, according to new data released by the State of Washington Office of Financial Management.
