Job growth outpaces that of Southern California neighbors

San Diego’s unemployment rate dipped to 4.4% in February, down from a revised 4.5% in January, according to the latest jobs report released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The unemployment rate was 10 basis points above the year-ago level, and it was more than one percentage point below California’s statewide rate in February.
