German discount supermarket giant Aldi has continued its aggressive London expansion by signing for a store in Muswell Hill, CoStar News understands.
Aldi, advised by London adviser Stripe Street, has secured an off-market letting with a private landlord for 412 Muswell Hill Broadway, which has been a 99p store and an Poundland.
It is thought the transaction exchanged last week for the 9,000-square-foot store on a 15-year lease.
Aldi has been aggressively expanding nationwide, with a particular focus on London where Stripe Street has advised on 55 transactions for the retailer, or 90% of the Aldi London estate in the last 10 years.
Stripe Street confirmed a site had been secured but provided no further detail.
