San Francisco Apartment Landlords Have Slashed Rents to Levels Unseen in Years

Vacancies in the San Francisco apartment market spiked in 2020 as renters moved out en masse amid the pandemic. Untethered from their offices through next summer at the earliest, renters fled expensive apartments in the locked-down city.
