Prairie Landing Community, an affiliate of Indianapolis-based BHI Senior Living, purchased the 267-unit Barrington of Carmel continuing care retirement community in Carmel, Indiana, from an affiliate of Addison, Texas-based Senior Quality Lifestyles Corp. for $61 million, or about $228,000 per unit, through a bankruptcy sale process.
