Education and Health Services, Manufacturing Led Florida in Nominal Job Growth

According to the Florida Department of Commerce, Bureau of Workforce Statistics, and Economic Research, the Tampa region has added over 30,000 jobs over the past year. Despite the overall job increase, the region’s unemployment rate increased 80 basis points year over year to 3.4% as of March 2024.
