Espirito Santo Plaza Sells Conrad Hotel

E.I. American Real Estate Corp. Acquires Hotel

The Conrad Hotel, which opened in early July, sold to E.I. American Real Estate Corp. at an estimated value of $65 million, about $320,197 per unit. The hotel will continue to be managed by the Conrad Hotel Corp., an affiliate of Hilton Hotels Corp. The hotel is at 1395 Brickell Ave. in Miami, across the street from Brickell Metromover Station and is part of Espirito Santo Plaza, which includes more than 250,000 square feet of Class-A office space. Espirito Santo Plaza is the US headquarters of Portugal's largest privately held bank, Espirito Santo Bank. Kohn Pederson Fox designed the architecturally significant property.
