The man who discovered two-time Grammy winner Justin Bieber now has found he has an interest in owning Southern California commercial real estate.

High-profile music executive Scooter Braun bought the roughly 23,000-square-foot 3355 Barnard Way in Santa Monica for $25.9 million, or a healthy $1,086 per square foot, according to a sales announcement and public records.
The seller was fashion icon Diane von Furstenberg, according to public records.
Before the music and fashion celebrities occupied the space, the four-story building once held the famed L.A. art organization Broad Art Foundation. The office property was built in 1927 and is a short walk from the Pacific Ocean, according to CoStar data.
The deal comes after Braun's Ithaca Holdings, which houses the management team representing Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato, agreed to lease 58,000 square feet at Los Angeles-based Kilroy Realty's Santa Monica Media Center at 2110 Colorado Ave. in Santa Monica in June.
Beverly Hills real estate brokerage firm Westside Estate Agency marketed 3355 Barnard Way for sale.
