After years of scarcity, available options for 'big box' retailers become more plentiful thanks to recent store closings

The market is starting to turn for retailers looking to expand their store fleets, as retail space availability rises following years of steady declines. This is especially true in shopping centers, properties that have shouldered a larger share of recent store closings than other types of retail centers, the source of much of this newly available space.
