BioMed Realty, a Blackstone portfolio company that owns and operates a portfolio of life science properties comprising 11.4 million square feet in both the U.S. and U.K., announced its latest acquisition, a prominent office tower in Boston’s Seaport District that served as John Hancock’s corporate headquarters until the insurance firm vacated the property in late 2018.
