Texas tops the nation in population growth

Drive around any major city in Texas for long enough, and you’re bound to see a bumper sticker saying something along the lines of “I wasn’t born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could.” For new arrivals, this and many other similar sayings are like a badge of honor — a way of showing your fellow Texans that you are here by choice, often in search of opportunities or new adventures.
