Organisers and partcipants of this year's Football Property Cup helped to raise more than £7,000 for the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research.
The cheque for £7,046, presented at a ceremony at Wembley Stadium, was earned after 14 teams participated in the annual tournament at QPR's Loftus Road ground in West London in May.
Lambert Smith Hampton beat Colliers in a penalty shoot-out to take the main trophy, while the Plate Final between Savills and Cushman & Wakefield was picked up by the former.
Other companies that took part included CBRE, JLL, Knight Frank, Gerald Eve, Montagu Evans, Hamptons, Gardiner & Theobald, Arcadia and two teams from Altus.
Real estate professionals are being encouraged to sign up to next year's edition, with the competition having raised more than £55,000 across the decade it has run.
Jon Rea-Palmer, head of M4 Corridor at LSH and the principal organiser of the tournament, said: "We are grateful to all our colleagues in real estate and our partners for their generous charity-giving and participation. Once again the Property Cup was a tremendous success and we are already looking forward eagerly to 2025."
Lady Stephanie Moore OBE, the founder of the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK and Bobby Moore's widow, added: "I’d like to thank Jon, Ian and the rest of the Property Cup committee for organising such a fantastic tournament on QPR’s fabulous pitch and congratulations to winning team, LSH, for becoming champions once again.
"We are very grateful to all the wonderful players who took part that day who helped to raise vital funds. Beating bowel cancer is a team effort that includes everyone and you’re helping us achieve a world where everybody can live longer, better lives, free from the fear of bowel cancer."
Across three decades, the Bobby Moore Fund has raised more than £31million and helped to make progress in bowel cancer research. Bowel cancer remains the second most common cause of cancer death in the UK, accounting for 10% of all cancer deaths.
The Property Cup is sponsored by CoStar News, Smart Spaces, Porterfield PR and Tayler Reid.
