Americold Realty Trust, the Atlanta-based company that claims to be the world’s largest publicly traded REIT focused on temperature-controlled warehouses, continued its recent rapid expansion by acquiring Newport-St. Paul Cold Storage, a 6.1 million cubic foot temperature-controlled storage facility near St. Paul, Minnesota, for $56 million.
