Oxford North, the £700 million innovation district being developed in Oxford, has appointed Elodie Siney as its operations manager.
Siney's arrival comes as the project continues to build the on-site management and facilities team ahead of its opening this year.
She is a clinical neuroscientist by training and has more than 25 years’ experience in research, biotechnology, business development, events and property management.
Siney joins from The Oxford Science Park where she was park manager for more than three and a half years. Prior to that she was marketing and events manager at the University of Oxford’s BioEscalator.
The recruit will be based at Oxford North and has joined ahead of the planned opening of the project delivering 1 million square feet of labs and workspace and 480 homes.
Siney will work alongside the recently appointed Simon Ruck, managing director, and Kevin Reid, energy and engineering manager.
Oxford North Ventures is the joint venture company of Thomas White Oxford, the development company of St John’s College, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and Stanhope.
Ruck said in a statement: "Her unique blend of scientific expertise and entrepreneurial experience in operations, scaling, and company creation is outstanding, ensuring that our future companies will be in excellent hands."
