Retail real estate investment trust PREIT sold the Whole Foods store at 500 W Germantown Pike next to the Plymouth Meeting Mall for $27 million as part of its capital-raising initiative. The seller plans to use proceeds from the sale to reduce debt and improve its balance sheet.
