Greyhound Buys Bus Terminal Near Atlantic City

Greyhound Lines Inc. purchased another maintenance facility minutes from Atlantic City. The property is on a 16.36-acre lot at 711 New Road in Pleasantville. It has space to accommodate parking for 214 buses and 140 cars. The one-story building was constructed in 1999 and is 30,625 square feet. The sales price was undisclosed but the property was accessed at $4.08 million, or about $133 per square foot. Greyhound Lines is one of the largest providers of intercity bus transportation in the U.S. serving more than 3,100 destinations. The new facility will serve as a regional maintenance center for Greyhound lines’ Northeast corridor. This region is one of the busiest parts of the nation for Greyhound.
