A father and son pair have worked on their first office letting together – on opposite sides of the transaction.

The Grade II-listed No1 Angel at 1 Islington High Street, sits on one of the area's most prominent corner sites and has been let on a 10-year term to EC English, a worldwide educational provider.

Matthew Noble, the senior partner at Noble Harris, represented the tenant, which has taken 7,473 square feet, the entire upper part of the building.

Landlord Jigger Properties was represented by Noble's son Adam, who is a director at Richard Susskind & Company.

This is a rarity in real estate: there are many examples of sons and daughters working alongside their parents at firms, but CoStar has heard of few examples where they are at different ends of the negotiating table.

If you know of parent and child pairs on either side of the deal - do get in touch. Email pnorman@costar.co.uk.
