Acquired by Covéa in 2009, 18 boulevard de Bonne-Nouvelle in the 10th arrondissement of Paris comprises two representative buildings from the 1950s, which once housed a telephone exchange, a post office and PTT offices. With a reinforced concrete and metal structure and generous volumes, the fundamentals of the buildings are excellent, despite the alterations they have undergone over time due to successive transformations and their almost total closure to the neighborhood. At the end of 2022, following the departure of Orange, Covéa Immobilier launched a renovation project with the architectural firm PCA-Stream, with the aim of preserving this remarkable architectural heritage. The building had real potential to recover its original architecture," recalls Rémi Lot, Director of Covéa Immobilier. The idea was to adapt it to the new, much more participative way of working, to open it up to the city, to create green spaces, large volumes, beautiful views and a rooftop.
