It comes as no surprise that downtown Sacramento's office market office has been hit hard by the pandemic and the subsequent shift to a more permanent work-from-home model employed by many office-using firms. Combining the 2,750 apartments either built or under construction with the array of trophy-class properties that dot the Sacramento skyline, the creation of a “commute-worthy” atmosphere maybe easier to create than originally thought — especially if the commute is only a short walk.
