Providence Adds Nearly 19,000 Jobs in May

Total Employment Still Down Roughly 15% Annually

After two historic months of job losses, the Providence, Rhode Island, metropolitan area added 19,300 jobs in May, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This equates to a roughly 3.9% increase from the previous month.
