A Fortune 500 company has decided to trade in its downtown Dallas headquarters for a nearby suburb to give it a place to expand its team to meet "growing business needs," said the chief executive. The relocation of Builders FirstSource to Irving, a city known for luring Fortune 500 headquarters, comes only months after the city's largest Fortune 500 company, Exxon Mobil, decided it was time to make its exit.
