Inland American JV Acquires Sherman Town Center

Inland American Real Estate Trust Inc., in a joint venture with MB REIT, acquired Sherman Town Center for $60.1 million, or about $158 per square foot, in Sherman, TX. The joint venture purchased the center under the name MB Sherman Town Center LP (MB Sherman), a wholly owned subsidiary formed for the acquisition. The 378,659-square-foot shopping center is at 3300-4100 U.S. Highway 75 North. Tenants include national retailers Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy and Old Navy.
