Colliers expands Philadelphia executive team with new hire

Brian Hilger joined Colliers as executive managing director and brokerage market leader in Philadelphia. Hilger will oversee brokerage operations including recruitment, retention and business development for five Colliers' offices in the Philadelphia region, the real estate services firm said.

Hilger will report to Gregg Shutan, Colliers’ president of East region brokerage, as the company seeks to broaden its Philadelphia market services, the firm said. Hilger has 24 years of industry experience, handling brokerage and marketing roles. He most recently served as a founding member of the Philadelphia office of KBC Advisors, where he provided services across four states in the mid-Atlantic region. He also worked previously at Cushman & Wakefield. 

CBRE promotes finance broker in growing California region

Anna Britt was promoted to vice president in the Irvine, California, office of CBRE that serves clients in Orange County and nearby regions of Southern California. Britt is a member of CBRE’s multi-disciplinary team handling debt and structured finance services for clients in the Western U.S., including California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Oregon and Washington, the real estate services firm said.

Britt has been at CBRE for the past seven years, having handled debt financing and structured finance transactions. She previously worked for MLB's San Diego Padres and Chicago-based investment firm Harrison Street Real Estate Capital. She is a graduate of Northwestern University, where she received an athletic scholarship to play softball.

Marcus & Millichap broadens Dallas presence

Marcus & Millichap has hired John Brickson as a managing director in its Dallas office, as it looks to expand its services in the region geared to property transaction financing. Brickson will focus on placement of debt and equity for clients, reporting to executive managing director Sunny Sajnani, the Calabasas, California-based brokerage said.

Brickson’s career includes handling financing for all property types, including hospitality, office, retail, industrial and self-storage, with a particular focus on multifamily properties. He has closed a total of nearly $1 billion in financing transactions. Brickson joined Marcus & Millichap from McKinney Realty Capital, a firm that he founded. Before that, he worked as a commercial lender with BMO Harris Bank, Lone Star Funds and A10 Capital.

Stream Realty adds to Nashville brokerage team

Stream Realty Partners tapped Charlie Gibson as a managing director and partner in its office in Nashville, Tennessee. Gibson has more than a decade of experience and will focus on advising commercial property landlords, tenants and investors.

Gibson previously served as vice chair at Cushman & Wakefield, where he represented landlords and tenants in office leasing and investment sales. He has handled a total of more than $1 billion in leasing and sales transactions. He will work with Rob Lowe, executive managing director and partner in the Nashville office, as Stream Realty seeks to grow its service presence in Tennessee, the firm said.

Founded in 1996, Stream Realty handles leasing, investment and development services for clients nationwide and has recently expanded in several U.S. regions. 

Brennan Investment bolsters San Francisco services

Brennan Investment Group added Bryan Schultz as a principal in its newly established San Francisco office. Schultz will spearhead investments in the San Francisco Bay Area, Central California and Sacramento, Chicago-based Brennan said. He has a career spanning more than two decades, handling investments and developments totaling more than $5 billion.

Prior to Brennan, Schultz held leadership roles with developers and investment firms that include March Capital, BlackRock, RREEF-DWS and Hines. He has handled sourcing, underwriting, financing and development for projects across the Western U.S. The privately held Brennan was founded in 2010 and acquires, develops and operates industrial properties in several major U.S. metropolitan regions.
