Hotel development in Detroit contributes to revitalization efforts

As revitalization efforts continue throughout the Detroit metropolitan area, hotel developers and brands are consistently adding newly built hotels to the region’s inventory. Since 2016, hotel openings have been hovering around the long-term average of around 1,000 rooms per year, even during the aftermath of the pandemic.
