Citigroup Sells NY Office Bldg. for $142M

Firm to Leaseback 304K-Square-Foot Property; Residential Conversion Plans Pending

Citigroup Global Markets sold 250 West St. in New York City's Tribeca submarket for $142 million, or about $470 per square foot, to EL-AD 250 West LLC. Citigroup will leaseback 100% of the property for two years while the plans for a luxury residential condominium conversion are solidified. The 304,000-square-foot office building was built in 1910 and was on the market for 28 days. Rising 11 stories on corner lot, the property features 116 feet of frontage on West St. and 229 feet of frontage on Hubert St.
