A Texas developer with a history of acquiring storied properties in Dallas-Fort Worth, such as The Statler in downtown Dallas, has purchased the famed Southfork Ranch, which includes the mansion made famous in the television series "Dallas," with yet-to-be-finalized plans to redevelop the property into a master-planned development.
