A private investor has acquired a retail center near Lincoln, Nebraska, that was fully leased at the time of sale and received multiple inquiries from potential buyers.
The Hickman Shopping Center, located in Hickman about 20 miles south of downtown Lincoln, sold for $1.5 million in late 2024. The retail center was fully leased at the time of sale, according to CoStar data, with 18 parties showing interest in purchasing it.
The deal has been recognized as the sale/acquisition of the year in Lincoln as part of the 2025 CoStar Impact Awards, which were judged by real estate professionals familiar with the market.
About the deal: Hickman Shopping Center spans 8,200 square feet in two buildings. Tenants in the shopping center include a day care, Subway, Chinese restaurant, chiropractic center and physical therapy practice.
