The current U.S.-Canada trade dispute could result in Canada increasingly shifting trade away from the U.S. and towards other countries—all of which are located overseas. Such a shift would serve as a catalyst for increased container traffic at the nation’s leading seaports, such as the Port of Vancouver and the Port of Montreal.
