LentaSpace, the London-focused flexible workspace operator, has recruited the former chief executive of Argyll, Tim Giles, as its managing director.
Giles brings more than 30 years' experience of the flexible office sector, having worked at rivals Argyll for two decades, leading the business through its post-purchase period.
After that, he moved onto Beaumont, another workspace operator, where he served as chief operating office for circa six years, helping it to expand to nine schemes from four when he joined.
He joins LentaSpace, which manages a portfolio of 13 buildings across the capital, to work alongside the company's chairman Mark Gibbor. He will be "focused on maximising long-term returns for the business, enhancing the portfolio’s value and improving the LentaSpace experience for all customers."
Giles said in a statement: "I’m excited about this role. With such an established brand I see my remit as one of evolution, not revolution. I am looking forward to working with the team, meeting our clients and taking the business forward."
LentaSpace is one of the longest standing companies in the flexspace sector, having been established in 1981. Its buildings, which it both owns and operates, are mainly dotted across London and include London Bridge, Kings Cross and Bank.
