Winston Water Cooler's purchase of a 25,090-square-foot industrial building last year marked the company's expansion into Corpus Christi, Texas.

The building at 5701 Park PID Road was developed by Houston-based Investment & Development Ventures and is located in one of Corpus Christi’s newest industrial parks.

The master-planned industrial park off of North Padre Island Drive is now home to the Corpus Christi branch of Dallas-based Winston Water Cooler, one of the fastest-growing wholesale plumbing suppliers and HVAC online suppliers in the Southwest. The deal earned it a 2023 CoStar Impact Award, as judged by real estate professionals familiar with the market.

About the project: Each newly constructed building at Park PID features a minimum of 28’ eave heights, concrete tilt-wall panels and standing seam roof systems.

What the judges said: "I am always encouraged when we can attract new companies to our city and can supply them with class properties," said Cliff Atnip, partner at Cobb, Lundquist & Atnip Realtors.

They made it happen: Josh Gaines, founder and president of Corpus Christi-based The Gaines Organization, represented the seller, Investment & Development Ventures. Drew Coupe and Anthony Squillante with Avison Young represented the buyer, Winston Water Cooler.
