BNP Paribas Real Estate has doubled the size of its valuation team in Scotland, with Guy Dalziel joining as an associate director and Ashley Hare as a director and ESG valuation lead.
Hare takes on the role following 12 years at Cushman & Wakefield, where he was a partner, and Dalziel comes across from Colliers, where he was an associate for seven years.
The firm's decision to expand in Scotland follows a series of client wins. The UK valuation team is led by Jim Crafford, who took over as head early last year.
Gary Murphy, Scotland head of valuation at BNP Paribas Real Estate, said in a statement: "We’re incredibly proud of our success as a team, as we have expanded our offering whilst facing strong market headwinds.
"Many of our competitors have scaled back their teams, often at the expense of reducing regional ‘on the ground’ advisory. We have counteracted this trend, due to our skillset of being able to advise across all sectors."
He added: "Our recent recruits in Ashley and Guy are known experts in their field, having advised on many large assets and significant active clients within the Scottish property market.
"We are actively looking to continue this trajectory of hires as our client base rapidly evolves."
