Looking to streamline operations after its $3.8 billion acquisition of Reebok in 2006, sports apparel giant adidas Group plans to close several of its U.S. distribution centers located in Massachusetts, Kentucky, Tennessee and South Carolina and consolidate into a new, 1.9 million-square-foot, multi-building distribution and customer service complex just outside Spartanburg, SC.
