Canary Wharf Recruits John Mulqueen as Chief Investment Officer

Leading London Office Investor and Developer Joins From CBRE Investment Management

Canary Wharf Group has appointed John Mulqueen as its chief investment officer.

Mulqueen is one of London's best-known office investors and developers and will join in August 2023.

He is managing director and head of EMEA offices operator division at CBRE Investment Management. Mulqueen will join the executive team as part of the continued development of Canary Wharf’s mixed-use developments, the Brookfield and Qatari Investment-Authority owned Docklands developer said.

He has over 30 years of real estate experience in the UK and EMEA including investment strategy, transactions, development, leasing, and management. He was previously CBRE IM’s Head of Transactions EMEA.

Prior to CBRE he was the London group director at Hammerson and worked at Liverpool Victoria Asset Management, managing commercial property asset funds across retail, industrial and offices.
