More residential units earning building permits than are developed in Vancouver

The Vancouver region has seen a 70% increase in rental units under construction over the past two years. However, the number could be higher based on the count of units with approved building permits from their respective municipalities. Increased costs related to construction, labour and development charges are all contributors to what could be considered construction delays.
