DELAVAN, WIS. – Wisconsin’s first and longest continually operating resort property boasting two miles of accessible shoreline in the Geneva Lakes region, has completed a landmark $40 million renovation of its rooms, meeting facilities and public spaces. The extensive upgrades combine modern touches, such as flat-screen TVs and wireless Internet, and fresh décor with convenient layout and breathtaking lake views that have delighted guests for 130 years. Lake Lawn Resort also built some creative meeting spaces aimed at differentiating the property from other Geneva Lakes resorts. Its Chicago Room, for instance, is intended for brainstorming sessions and relaxed breakout sessions, with a foosball table, big screen TV and entertainment package, bar and more.
The renovation was completed in November, with the opening of the Frontier Restaurant and its new bar, featuring an open view to the courtyard and shoreline of Delavan Lake. The reimagined restaurant, overseen by Chef David Ross, features New American cuisine and upscale comfort food created with fresh local produce. Seasonally, visitors will enjoy the new Look Out Bar & Eatery, with patio seating overlooking the outdoor pool and lake.
