James Shillabeer has decided to leave South East and London office agency specialist Bray Fox Smith after 12 years at the firm, six as an equity director.
He is joining London and South East office and retail adviser Hanover Green.
Paul Smith, the co-founder of Bray Fox Smith, said: "James has decided to leave for a new challenge and a change in direction and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours. I am particularly sad as he and I have worked together and known each other for over 20 years, but all good things come to an end eventually. I would like to thank him for his loyal support over that period as we have had some amazing times, and he has been a key part in the growth of Bray Fox Smith into one of the leading multi-disciplinary property agency firms in the South East."
Shillabeer said: "After 12 enjoyable years at Bray Fox Smith I have come to the tough decision that the time is right for a new challenge. After a break, I look forward to starting work again later this year at Hanover Green."
Bray Fox Smith has been involved in some of the most high-profile leasing deals across the South East in the past 12 months including: 97,000 square feet at Tempo, Maidenhead; 115,000 square feet at Clarendon Works, Watford; the prelet of 80,000 square feet at 500 Capability Green, Luton and a 30,000-square-foot prelet in Richmond.
